In Tyre, Sara Awally and Sahar Dbouk founded "Super Girls," a groundbreaking football team for girls from South Lebanon. With over 50 talented players and official recognition in Lebanon, they've won multiple leagues. More than a team, "Super Girls" fosters community engagement by bringing together girls from diverse backgrounds, promotes peacebuilding through teamwork and mutual respect, and provides safe spaces where girls can challenge stereotypes and pursue their passions.
